2026 T20 World Cup: UAE Completes the Team Line-up!

The excitement for the T20 World Cup 2026 has reached new heights as the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has officially claimed their spot. They join a league of 20 teams that will compete for the prestigious title in a tournament hosted by India and Sri Lanka early next year.

India and Sri Lanka have obtained direct qualifications as co-hosts. In addition, the eight teams that progressed to the Super Eight stage of the 2024 edition are also set to return. Notably, Ireland, Pakistan, and New Zealand made the cut as the highest-ranked teams according to the ICC standings.

The remaining eight spots were filled through continental qualifiers, showcasing the global nature of the competition.
