The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 auction has set the stage for an exciting season as the Delhi Capitals (DC) made significant investments to enhance their squad. This year’s auction saw DC spend ₹21.45 crore to acquire eight talented players. The franchise kicked off their spending spree with the signing of veteran South African batter David Miller.

To strengthen their batting lineup, DC also welcomed two overseas openers: Ben Duckett from England, signed for ₹2 crore, and Pathum Nissanka from Sri Lanka, acquired for ₹4 crore. This strategic acquisition aims to provide stability at the top of the order.
