The ICC awarded India an astonishing USD 4.48 million (approx. Rs 39.78 crore), making it the highest prize in women’s cricket history. This victory is part of a total prize pool of USD 13.88 million, reflecting a remarkable 297% increase from the previous tournament held in 2022.

In response to their achievement, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced an additional Rs 51 crore cash prize for the entire Indian contingent, including players, coaching staff, and support personnel. BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia stated, “This moment will transform women’s cricket in India.”
Ultimately, with both the ICC payout and BCCI’s reward combined, the Indian team will walk away with around Rs 90 crore, establishing a new benchmark in Indian women’s sports.
